Whig Invasion Plan 1685

In March 1685, the Whig leaders met in Amsterdam to agree their combined invasion plan of Britain, Argyll would land in Scotland as a diversion, this would be supported by uprisings in London & Chester. Meanwhile, Monmouth would land in the West of England to advance on London.
